This topic might not be really interesting for the ones that live in Canada because it is about SNOW!
Yes – sorry – I’m Brazilian, I’m feeling cold here! But I know that it is still only the beginning. I received an e-mail about the winter and some cares that we need to have so here it goes!
* Be aware of your surroundings. Look for snow or ice accumulations and avoid them when possible.
* Do not cut across short cuts. Avoid cutting across fields or unshoveled parking lots. Stick to shoveled paths whenever possible
* Allow extra time to get where you’re going. Busses may be running behind. Your car could be covered in snow. The roads could be slippery.
* Don’t rush to get somewhere. Running could cause you to slip on the ice and cause serious injury.
* Layer your clothing and dress to the weather. It is important to stay warm outside. As the temperatures drop we run the risk of frost bite or hypothermia.
