So, let’s start finally! I had some major problems with the technical part of the blog… As Brook would whisper in class: “Technical difficulties”
Well I left Canada April 30th 11:30am, I arrived in Porto Alegre, my hometown, April 1st around 5pm… It was a long trip but I was very excited about arriving home so I wasn’t even tired that afternoon. As I have been speaking English so often in the past months I said more than once Thank you and Sorry other than Obrigado and Desculpa to Brazilians and they looked at me like: “Weirdo” :p
It was a warm, Latino, welcome! Pretty much all my family was in the airport… with cameras and hugs waiting for me.
Circle of people around me and my gf
That’s my mom 😀
After the Airport we all went to my Dad’s house to have a BRAZILIAN BARBECUE! The one I talked so much about… I will write a post on Brazilian Barbecue later on. I want to show some pictures that I took specially to post here 🙂
Look the size of my smile… it’s bigger than the ribs… :p
🙂
Please keep voting in the poll! If you go to the PHOTOS page you can see more pictures of my arrival in POA.
Tomorrow I will write about the city that I live and some cool things to better contextualize everybody.
Obrigado ttyl.
So, here I am! As promised, I will keep up my blog with my Brazilian side for, at least, the next 4 months.
The purpose of this initiative is simple and I hope you will enjoy. First: Show some of my “roots,” the place that I have come from and things that are nice, and not, about Brazil. Second: Develop some skills such as: English writing, blogging, creating interest and relationship with/in a audience through a digital media. Third: Have some fun (and hopefully you’ll all have as well.)
So, to start in a democratic way,as Kathy taught my class, If you look down you will see a POLL! I’m asking you guys to choose which of those subjects you would be more interested in.
There are many ways to keep up with the blog – Newsletter, Twitter, Facebook, RSS and some other ways to reach my blog.
Feel free to comment in any post to say from: “\o/” to “I didn’t understand a word of what you’ve said“
The blog also has some cool pictures from these months I was in Canada. Check the Photos page out.

Hello everyone! As I said before, here I am writing my blog in English. I would like to ask that you all bare with me, because I’m changing the layout a little bit and doing other things to get the blog sleek and cool. So hopefully in the next couple of days I will have everything UP and running. See ya.
